Zoe has arrived!!!

It has been ages since I even looked at our blog, I hope to do a better job but we'll see. Being pregnant and a mother of an energetic 3 year old keeps me very busy. So here's a recap of the events since I last posted. The holidays came and went like they do each year. All of us were sick for the end of the year and the start of the new one. I was miserable being sick and pregnant, spent Jan 1st in the ER, OH JOY! Noah and I went home for 2 weeks in Jan to get the house ready for Zoe and to clean before we headed to San Jose for our extended visit. Starting mid-Jan John drove us up to San Jose so I could be there for my doctor visits which started being every 2 weeks. As the weeks went by my belly grew and my back ached. So I spoke to my doctor and he said if I continued to be in this much pain he would induce me. It was a win win situation this way I could plan for the induction day if I made it that far and John could be here planned, not rushing to make the big event. The days passed, Noah and I enjoyed being in San Jose and dinners out with my parents. Noah spent many days with Papa on the property playing and going for outings in the BIG TRUCK. Noah is really becoming a little kid and loves his independence that being potty trained has given him. My Mom threw me a lovely baby shower 2 weeks before the BIG day, Zoe received lots of beautiful gifts and it was nice to visit with family and friends. And then out of no where March 4th was in view, how did that happen. I felt like I had just found out I was pregnant. John drove up the night before and we backed our bags for the early morning adventure. John slept and of course I didn't, but I guess that's normal being a mommy. We woke up at 4 am to be at the hospital at 6am to get the show going. And by 8 am I was hooked up and started having contractions, they didn't get too bad until about lunch time and I couldn't take it anymore. Yes I had to have an epidural, love modern medicine. John and I talked enjoying the last few hours of our party of 2 before it became 4. And by 4pm Miss Zoe was ready to make her appearance. We had to wait for my parents, Noah and Nina Corina and after pushing for 10 minutes our little girl came screaming into the world. Zoe was born on March 4th, 2011 @ 5:04 pm weighing 6 lbs 15oz and 20 inches long. She is beautiful and life is great, can't wait to see what this littler person is going to develop into.
