It's PINK!!!!!!

We are happy to say we can confirm that the bun in the oven is a girl. At our 1st ultra sound to check the gender we were about 90% sure it was a girl. So we had another ultra sound last week and they were able to confirm we are having a GIRL. As of now we are pretty sure her name is going to be Zoe, John picked the name this time around. At first I wasn't sure but it's growing on me and I love it. Our little Sweat Pea aka Zoe!!!! Noah is excited to be having a little sister and tells us that he's going to play with her, be nice and teach her all sorts of fun things.

We have a potty trained BIG BOY!!!!!

Yes it's official we are proud to announce that Noah is potty trained. John and I started back in October and it took us about 2 weeks. Noah picked up on it pretty fast and only had a few accidents. Noah was told that if he could be a big boy by using the potty and undies he would get to pick out a toy of his choice. Noah told us everyday I want a BIG Buzz Lightyear and a castle. Happy to say Noah earned his Buzz and Lil People castle from us and my parents. It is so nice to have a potty trained 3 year old and a baby on the way, one down one more to go, LOL. I will be sure to add some picks of Noah and his rewards.

Baby #2 On the Way

If you didn't know by now, we are expecting a new baby to join our family in early March. As of now it looks like baby #2 will be born on my birthday. We are 95% sure that this little one is a girl after our last doctor appointment. We are crossing our fingers that we can confirm it's a baby girl in a few weeks. Noah is very excited to be a big brother and tells me that he's going to help and teach the baby all sorts of things. I've been feeling OK, it seem that this pregnancy has been a little harder on me this time around with feeling sick and head aches. Having a 3 year old I must keep going as you can imagine. We are looking forward to the rest of the pregnancy and the adventures that will be coming our way in early 2011. I will do my best to keep up to date on the pregnancy, so check back.

Noah as you can see was Buzz Lightyear this year for Halloween. We spent the holiday in San Jose with family. This was the 1st year I think Noah really understood what it was about and he had a blast. Noah just loved saying "Trick or Treat" and he even went into a Haunted House that was pretty scary and loved it. I think we had the cutest Buzz Lightyear ever.

Noah's 1st Eye and Dentist Visits Dec 2009

Noah had his 1st eye and dentist appointments when we were home for the month of December 2009. I was pretty sure Noah would do just fine at both appointments. He really enjoys his visits to his pediatrician Dr. Contini, but you never know. Luckily Noah did great at both and the staff commented on how brave he was and friendly. I was pretty sure that Noah would tell the dentist, "No touch, Dr. said". He still remembers what the ER Doc told him when he split his lip and tells us this every time we come near his lip. It's so funny what Noah remembers from events in his short 2 and a half years but he really has a great memory. When they say their little brains are like sponges they weren't kidding.

ER Visit Feb 26, 2010

So we had an eventful evening on Friday. John and I had to do some banking @ B of A and waited about 30 minutes to see someone about our account in question. Noah did very well entertaining himself and made it known that he was present in the bank. Thankfully it was not too busy and he didn't drive anyone crazy besides us. When we finally sat down to discuss our account Noah decided to climb up on a chair and sit down, except the sitting part didn't last very long. As Noah was trying to get off of the chair he somehow missed his landing and went falling forward and SMACK right up against the desk that we were seated at. He let out the standard screaming, and then the blood came. At first I was sure he broke his nose and then we realized where the blood was coming from. Noah actually split his lip open about an inch. Of course I was horrified because after getting a good look at his lip I knew he needed stitches. Luckily he calmed down pretty quickly and we were actually able to quickly finish what we came to do at the bank. Everyone was very nice and helpful and Noah even got an otter pop out of the bank manager. We quickly rushed him to the ER and was prepared for a long wait like most ER visit are. It only took about 30 to 40 minutes to be called back (!) for the dreaded stitching to begin. John stayed with Noah while I paid the bill, I just couldn't handle seeing them stick Noah and sew him up. Noah let out a cry of course when they numbed the area but calmed down nicely and let the Doc give him a total of 3 stitches. After the procedure was completed Noah was back to his happy-go-lucky self. He even thanked everyone in the ER and said GOOD BYE!!!! I'm crossing my fingers we don't have many more visit to the ER, but with a rough and tumble little guy I'm sure they are in store. Let's pray they're as easy as this one...

We had a very cold day back in January and received a good amount of snow. It was very pretty to look at from the warmth of our house. Decide to take Noah outside in it and he liked it for a few minutes until he took a ball of it in his hands. His response was, "Mommy this is cold".
